Abstract:
Provided are a connection structure for flexible printed board and a method for manufacturing a flexible printed board unit in which dimensional tolerance is less likely to have an effect between adjacent contacts and any increase in size can be prevented. A flexible printed board (20) has: a first constituent part (31) in which a plurality of first contacts (35) arranged along the lateral direction are provided to a surface (31A) thereof; and a second constituent part (32) positioned so as to be next to the first constituent part (31) in the longitudinal direction, a plurality of second contacts (36) arranged along the lateral direction being provided on a surface (32A) of the second constituent part (32). A support part (40) supports the flexible printed board (20) in a folded state so that the reverse surface (31B) of the first constituent part (31) and the reverse surface (32B) of the second constituent part (32) face each other. The plurality of first contacts (35) and the plurality of second contacts (36) are arranged along the lateral direction in a staggered form.
