Abstract:
A connection structure for piping members, providing simple connection and being capable of reliably preventing liquid leakage caused by creeping effect that impairs pressing force at a joint to lower sealing ability or by possible separation at the joint resulted from loosening in a tightening member. In the connection structure, a first piping member (1) and a second piping member (2) are joined. The first piping member (1) has a flow path in its inside and has a first joint surface (8) where a first opening (7) communicating with the flow path and having a first annular groove (6) on its outer periphery is provided. The second piping member (2) has a flow path in its inside and has a second joint surface (11) where a second opening (10) communicating with the flow path and having a second annular groove (9) on its outer periphery is provided. The first and second piping members (1, 2) are joined such that a thin, substantially hollow cylinder-shaped sleeve (3), having flanges (23) at its both ends and on the outer periphery of which elastic bodies (26, 27) are fit, are pressed by the first annular groove (6) and the second annular groove (9).
