Abstract:
Provided is a connector for animals that can regulate the range of motion of a connected object and prevent a push-back force by the connected object from acting on a notch in an operating part.
This connector (200) is provided with: a main body (7), in which a hook part (4) and a shaft part (50) rise up from a base part (3) and their respective tip part (4a) and tip part face each other so as to form an opening part (6) of the hook part (4); a latching pin (110) that is accommodated so as to move back and forth in the shaft part (50) toward the tip part of the hook part (4) and can open and close the opening part (6) and is such that an operating part (90) thereof is exposed to the outside at notch parts (91) of the operating part (90) through a slide groove (8a) in the shaft part (50); and a spring (12) biased so as to make the latching pin (110) contact the tip part of the hook part (4). The main body (7) has a regulating wall part (10) that extends on a connecting area (14) side of the hook part (4) for a connected object (13) in the space in which the shaft part (50) and the hook part (4) rise up from the base part (3), regulates the connecting area (14) of the hook part for the connected object from the tip part and the play toward the base part side, and forms a regulating window (15) connected to the opening part (6) for putting in and taking out the connected object.
