Abstract:
A connector for an electric vehicle is provided with a connection terminal unit having a primary power transmission terminal that is electrically connected to a first power supply terminal of a power converter, a plug having a secondary power transmission terminal that is electrically connected to a second power supply terminal of an inlet of the electric vehicle, a circuit breaker connected between the primary power transmission terminal and the secondary power transmission terminal and having a closed state in which the circuit breaker electrically connects the primary power transmission terminal and the secondary power transmission terminal and an open state in which the circuit breaker electrically disconnects the primary power transmission terminal and the secondary power transmission terminal, and a circuit breaker control unit that puts the circuit breaker in the closed state under normal circumstances and puts the circuit breaker in the open state under abnormal circumstances in which an abnormality has occurred in the electric vehicle.
