Abstract:
A connector (10) according to the present disclosure is fitted to an object to be connected (50). The connector (10) comprises: a plurality of contacts (30); an insulator (20) having an outer wall (23) to which the plurality of contacts (30) are attached and which extends along the longitudinal direction of the connector (10); and a second metal fitting (40b) attached to an end (E) of the outer wall (23) in the longitudinal direction. The second metal fitting (40b) has an outer peripheral part (40b1) constituting the outer periphery of the connector (10) in a region (R) located at an end in the longitudinal direction of the connector (10) and located outside the end (E) of the outer wall (23) in the longitudinal direction.
