Abstract:
A connector 10 according to the present disclosure comprises an insulator 20 including a mating projecting portion 22 which projects toward a side for mating with a connection target object 50, and an outer peripheral wall 23 surrounding the periphery of the mating projecting portion 22, and a first metal fitting 40a which is attached to the mating projecting portion 22, wherein: the mating projecting portion 22 has a first surface 221 forming an end surface on the mating side, a second surface 222 and a third surface 223 which extend from edge portions of the first surface 221 that run in a longitudinal direction of the connector 10, and a fourth surface 224 which extends from an edge portion of the first surface 221 that runs in a lateral direction of the connector 10; and the first metal fitting 40a includes a first end portion 41a1 disposed at a first intersecting portion R1 at which the first surface 221, the second surface 222, and the fourth surface 224 intersect, and a second end portion 41a2 disposed at a second intersecting portion R2 at which the first surface 221, the third surface 223, and the fourth surface 224 intersect.
