Abstract:
The invention relates to a connector, especially a photovoltaic connector, comprising a housing (16, 24) having a receiving chamber (66) in which a contact pin (61, 71) can be inserted and held by means of a lock (20). The contact pin (61, 71) comprises a sleeve-type base body (62) comprising a contact element (17, 25), an opposing crimp region (63) to which a cable can be connected by crimping, and a sealing body for sealing the crimping region (63) to the contact element (17, 23) inside the base body (62). The contact pin (61, 71) comprises an insert for locking and sealing the sleeve-type base body (62), said insert comprising a sealing body (68) inside the sleeve-type base body (62), on which at least one engaging element (67) is arranged for locking to a cavity (73) in the receiving chamber (66), said engaging element extending outwards through at least one recess (86) in the sleeve-type base body (62).
