Abstract:
Disclosed is a connector for connecting a fluid flow path to a fuel tank. The aforementioned connector is provided with a main body section formed by a synthetic resin which is not susceptible to penetration of gas generated from fuel, and an outer shell section which is formed on the outside of this main body section, which is more susceptible to penetration of the above-mentioned gas than is the main body section, and which is capable of being welded onto the outer surface of the fuel tank. The outer periphery of the main body section is provided with a flange section. The shell section comprises a thick section for welding which bends from the upper surface side of this flange section and covers the lower surface side of the flange section. The lower surface of the flange section is provided with a slope the upper end of which consists of the end of the outer periphery of the flange section.
