Abstract:
Provided is a connector head, comprising a plastic housing (10), a terminal base (20), a foolproof tab (30), two light-emitting diodes (LEDs) (40) and an outer housing (50); the plastic housing (10) is provided with an accommodating cavity (11); the terminal base (20) is interposed in the accommodating cavity (11); the foolproof tab (30) is disposed inside the accommodating cavity (11) and is located on the upper end of the terminal base (20); any one of the LEDs (40) comprises a tube (41) and two support legs (42), the length of one of the support legs being longer than the length of the other support leg; the two LEDs (40) are inserted into the two cavities formed between the two sides of the terminal base (20) and the two sides of the accommodating cavity (11), respectively. The connector head consists mainly of the plastic housing, the terminal base, the foolproof tab, the two LEDs, and the outer housing; thus the structure is simplified such that its overall thickness is reduced, making it suitable for the requirements of flatness and thinness of a display screen; at the same time, the length of one of the support legs of the LED is longer than the length of the other support leg, thus the damage to the fragile internal structure of the LED during bending is minimized.
