This arm connector 10 is provided with an upper retainer 13 and a lower retainer 14 which are installed in a connector housing 12 and can move along a retainer movement direction, crossing a terminal insertion direction, between a temporary locking position in which a terminal is allowed to be inserted into a cavity 15 and a regular locking position in which the retainers are locked to the terminal, thereby fixing the terminal so that the terminal does not fall out, wherein the upper retainer 13 and the lower retainer 14 have an upper cam pin 28 and a lower cam pin 29 which protrude in a pin protrusion direction crossing the retainer movement direction and different from the terminal insertion direction, and the upper cam pin 28 and the lower cam pin 29 are fitted into an upper cam groove 38 and a lower cam groove 39 provided in a jig 30 and move inside the upper cam groove 38 and the lower cam groove 39 such that the upper retainer 13 and the lower retainer 14 move between the temporary locking position and the regular locking position.
