Abstract:
Provided are a connector and a manufacturing method therefor, wherein the connector can be molded using a molding die with a simple structure, and the accuracy of the location and orientation of nuts can be maintained at a high level. A connector (1) comprises a plurality of connector terminals (3), core resin parts (2A), (2B), nuts (4), and an outside resin part (5). The plurality of nuts (4) are positioned facing a nut-facing surface (21A) of the core resin part (2A). The outside resin part (5) covers the core resin parts (2A), (2B) and the nuts (4) while allowing exposed surfaces (25) of the core resin parts (2A), (2B) and outside end surfaces (41) of the nuts (4) to be exposed. An injection mark (51) from when the outside resin part (5) was molded is formed in a surface of the outside resin part (5), said surface being in a position covering an opposite side surface (22B) that is located on the opposite side of the core resin parts (2A), (2B) from the nut-facing surface (21A).
