Abstract:
A connector (130, 230, 330) for coupling a first electronic device (110, 210, 310) and a second electronic device (120, 220, 320) to a power supply (140, 430) so that the power supply (140, 430) supplies the current to the first electronic device (110, 210, 310) and the second electronic device (120, 220, 320). The connector (130, 230, 330) comprises: a first connector component (133, 233, 333) coupled to the first electronic device (110, 210, 310); a power supply connector component (134, 234, 334) coupled to the power supply (140, 430); a power cord (136a, 136b, 136c, 136d, 136e) coupling the second electronic device (120, 220, 320) and the first connector component (133, 233, 333) to the power supply connector component (134, 234, 334); a data line (131, 231, 331) of which one end is coupled to the second electronic device (120, 220, 320) and the other end is coupled to the first connector component (133, 233, 333); a power supply state detection circuit (135, 235, 335) coupled to the power supply connector component (134, 234, 334) and configured to detect whether the power supply connector component (134, 234, 334) is coupled to the power supply (140, 430); and a message transmission line (132, 232, 332) of which one end is coupled to the power supply state detection circuit (135, 235, 335), and the other end is coupled to the second electronic device (120, 220, 320). The power supply state detection circuit (135, 235, 335) is configured to: upon detecting that the power supply connector component (134, 234, 334) is coupled to the power supply (140, 430), send a power supply (140, 430) connection message to the second electronic device (120, 220, 320) via the message transmission line (132, 232, 332).
