Abstract:
Provided are a connector, a connector set, and a connector-equipped cable, that can accommodate internal wiring requirements for a communications device, can, in particular, improve high-speed transmission characteristics, can improve coaxial cable connection workability, and can make a circuit board that is a connection target (e.g., a M.2-compliant expansion card) more compact. The connector is for wire-to-board connections and, by mating with a partner connector, connects a plurality of coaxial cables used in high-frequency signal transmission and a circuit board. The connector comprises: a plurality of first contacts that are connected to the internal conductor in each of the plurality of coaxial cables, respectively; and a second contact that is connected to ground which is a reference potential. The second contact has a shielding section disposed between the plurality of first contacts. The shielding section includes two inter-connection shielding plates provided between adjacent first contact signal line connections, so as to be orthogonal to the direction in which the signal line connections face.
