Abstract:
This connector system comprises: a first connector which includes a first transmission line; and a second connector which includes a second transmission line. The second connector contains a processing unit which performs an information transmission process which prepares information pertaining to verification and transmits said information to the first connector. The first connector comprises: a switch for switching between whether to electrically connect the first transmission line and the second transmission line in a state in which the first connector and the second connector are connected; a verification unit which performs a verification process for verifying the second connector on the basis of the information received from the second connector; and a control unit which controls the switch on the basis of the results of the verification process.
