Abstract:
Provided is a connector terminal with which the heat resistance is excellent and the formation of a high-hardness insulating film on an electrical contact outermost surface is avoided even in usage in a high-temperature environment; also provided is a method for producing same. In the connector terminal, a nickel layer is formed at a contact which makes electrical contact with another electroconductive member, and an electrically-conductive nickel oxide film is formed which covers the nickel layer and is exposed at the outermost surface. The electroconductive nickel oxide film is formed by anodizing the nickel layer in a weakly acidic aqueous solution such as diluted sulfuric acid, or by immersing thereof in a weakly acidic aqueous solution in which oxygen is dissolved.
