Abstract:

A connection metal (71) is formed by bending a die cutting material having an approximately rectangular metal plate and a metal piece connected to one end of the metal plate on the long side, wherein the metal piece functions as a hook (71e) which: is folded so as to come within a region directly above the surface which is on the side of the metal plate which opposes the side that comes into contact with the surface electrode (21a) or the rear surface electrode (21b); is curved along the longitudinal direction of the metal plate; and engages with a first housing (51a) and a second housing (51b). Thus, compared to hooks which are positioned orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the metal plate, and which curve in the direction in which the connection metal faces outwards, the length of the gap between a plurality of connection metals (71), which is approximately orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the connection metal (71), can be minimized, thereby being able to reduce the size of the first housing (51a) and the second housing (51b), in other words, the connector (50) can be reduced in size.
