Abstract:
This connector is provided with: a plurality of contacts which are arranged on a contact arrangement plane, include a power supply contact and a signal contact, and have contact parts which respectively make contact with the contacts of a mating connector; a metal ground plate arranged in parallel with the contact arrangement plane; an insulator which holds the plurality of contacts and the ground plate; and a metal shell which covers the outer periphery of the insulator. The ground plate is arranged facing the plurality of contacts, with the insulator therebetween, such that the contact parts of the plurality of contacts are exposed, and has notches on an edge thereof near the contact part of the power supply contact. The insulator has projections that fit in the notches of the ground plate.
