Abstract:

Provided is a connector allowing terminal metal pieces and detection terminals to be formed simultaneously. A housing (10) is provided with terminal metal pieces (20A) and a pair of detection terminals (20B). Each of the terminal metal pieces (20A) is connected to an extremity portion of a signal wire (70A), and establishes electrical contact with a counterpart terminal metal piece (90A) provided in a counterpart housing (80) when both housings (10, 80) are mated. When both housings (10, 80) are properly mated, each of the pair of detection terminals (20B) is energized, thereby closing and forming a detection circuit. Each of the pair of detection terminals (20B)is connected to one another through a detection wire (70B), and is shaped identically to the terminal metal pieces (20A).
