Abstract:
A connector (1) has: a terminal base section (2) having a first housing (5) in which a plate-like first electrode (4) is mounted; and a connector section (3) having a plate-like second electrode (7) provided at an end of a cable (6), the connector section (3) further having a second housing (8) for accommodating the second electrode (7). In the connector (1), electrodes (4, 7) are electrically connected by fitting the housings (5, 8) to each other and then screwing the electrodes (4, 7) together. The connector section (3) has a terminal cover (30) which consists of an insulating body, is provided to the second housing (8) in a slidable manner, and is provided so that at least a part thereof can be accommodated within the second housing (8). When in a non-accommodate state, the terminal cover (30) is disposed so as to cover the second electrode (7). The terminal cover (30) is configured so that, when the first housing (5) and the second housing (8) are fitted to each other, the terminal cover (30) can be pushed into the second housing (8) and accommodated therein by the first housing (5).
