Abstract:
A connector (1) that comprises: a terminal (10); and a housing (H) that houses the terminal. The terminal (10) includes: a case (20) that has a ceiling wall (21) and that is housed inside the housing; a coiled spring (30) that is housed inside the case when compressed in a compression direction that leads to the ceiling wall of the case; and a first conductive member (40) that has a contact portion (43) for contact with a mating-side terminal, that is sandwiched and held between one end (31) of the coiled spring and an inner wall of the case, and that can move in the compression direction such that the contact portion further compresses the coiled spring. The case (20) is configured from a metal material.
