Abstract:
Provided is a connector having improved reliability of contact.
Provided is a connector comprising: a housing (10) having a terminal housing chamber (11) formed therein; a female terminal fitting (30) having a rectangular-cylindrical terminal body (31) and inserted in the terminal housing chamber (11); an elastically deflectable lance (15) formed in the terminal housing chamber (11) and engaging with the terminal body (31) to retain the female terminal fitting (30) located within the terminal housing chamber (11); an elastic contact section (44) provided within the terminal body (31) and in elastic contact with the tab (51) of a male terminal fitting (50) inserted within the terminal body (31); an elastic pressing section (40) formed on the outer surface of the terminal body (31); and a pressure receiving section (18) which is formed on the inner wall of the terminal housing chamber (11) and with which the elastic pressing section (40) is in elastic contact.
