Abstract:
A connector 100 is provided with a connector body 40 comprising conductive contacts 31B-35B and a housing 20 for holding the conductive contacts. The conductive contacts 31B-35B are exposed from the housing 20 in a tip section 42 of the connector body 40 so as to enable electrical connection with a partner connector and exposed from the housing 20 in a rear end section 44 of the connector body 40 so as to enable electrical connection with a substrate. The housing 20 comprises positioning sections 22A, 22B for positioning the connector body 40 and the substrate relative to each other. When the connector body 40 is viewed in a planar view, the positioning sections 22A, 22B are arranged further than the conductive contacts 31B, 35B toward a central line side of the connector body 40 extending along a direction leading to the rear end section from the tip section of the connector body.
