Abstract:
This connector is provided with: an insulator which has a first main surface that faces a cable and a back surface that is on the reverse side of the first main surface; a contact which electrically connects the cable and a substrate with each other; and an actuator which is able to rotate about a rotation axis that is parallel to the substrate. The actuator is provided with a plate-like lateral wall that intersects with the rotation axis. The lateral wall comprises: a base part which has a second main surface that faces the first main surface when the actuator is rotated in a direction approaching the cable; and a recognition part which protrudes from the base part. The distance from the rotation axis to the front end of the recognition part is greater than the distance from the rotation axis to the back surface in the direction that is perpendicular to the second main surface.
