Abstract:
Provided is a connector having a moving plate with which it is possible to perform positioning of a tab in an excellent manner. This connector comprises: a first housing (10) having a terminal-holding part (11) and a hood part (12); a male terminal fitting (70) of which a tab (72) is caused to protrude into the hood part (12); a second housing (90) that is closely fitted with the first housing (10); and a moving plate (40) that positions a front-end part of the tab (72) and is capable of moving inside the hood part (12), the tab (72) penetrating through the moving plate (40). The moving plate (40) has a protrusion (47) in a form such that a hole edge section of a positioning hole (43) within a first facing surface (45) that faces the second housing (90) is caused to protrude forward. When the moving plate (40) is in an initial position, the front end of the tab (72) is positioned farther toward the rear than a virtual protective surface (S1) to which the outer surface of the protrusion (47) is extended forward.
