Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a connector equipped with a CPA having a reduced length in the sliding direction while retaining sufficient flexibility for elastic arms thereof. [Solution] A connector 10 is provided with a housing 20 and a CPA 30. The CPA 30 is provided with a base section 60, a pair of right and left first elastic arms 71, and second elastic arms 75. The first elastic arms 71 are each provided with a first arm portion 72, a second arm portion 73, and an engagement protrusion 74. Similarly, the second elastic arms 75 are each provided with a third arm portion 76, a fourth arm portion 77, and a projecting portion 78. In this manner, the first elastic arms 71 and the second elastic arms 75 have shapes extending from the base section 60 and folding back to return to the base section 60. This allows for the achievement of a CPA 30 and connector 10 with short lengths while ensuring that there is sufficient flexibility for the first elastic arms 71 and second elastic arms 75 when the engagement protrusions 74 and projecting portions 78 interfere with the housing 20.
