Abstract:
Provided is a connector which can smoothly perform floating while suppressing impedance mismatch. A receptacle unit 93 of this connector 100 includes a plurality of contacts 3-j (j = 1 to K) installed between a stationary housing 1 and a floating housing 2, the plurality of contacts 3-j (j = 1 to K) having a support piece part 36 supported on the stationary housing 1, a support piece part 37 supported on the floating housing 2, and an elastic deformation part 38 which is interposed between the two support piece parts 36 and 37 and is elastically deformable. The elastic deformation part 38 has two linear parts 381 and 382 which extend along a wall part 12 and a wall part 22 facing a movable space 102 in the stationary housing 1 and the floating housing 2, and a flexible part 380 between the upper ends of the two linear parts 381 and 382, and portions of the wall part 12 and the wall part 22 facing the flexible part 380 are curved along the shape of the flexible part 380.
