Abstract:
The present invention provides a connector that makes it possible to perform inspection with an inspection camera without changing the height dimension of a housing. A connector (10) comprises a housing (12) that is capable of fitting with a counterpart-side connector. The housing (12) has: a mounting surface (12A) that is opposite from a surface of a circuit board (90); an end surface (12B) that is positioned on the opposite side from the mounting surface (12A); a side surface (12C) that is positioned between the end surface (12B) and the mounting surface (12A) and that faces outward in a width direction (left-right direction) which intersects the direction of fitting between the housing (12) and the counterpart-side connector; and an inclined surface (12D) that is positioned at a corner (12E) formed by the side surface (12C) and the end surface (12B), and that is chamfered linearly in a cross-sectional view orthogonal to the direction of fitting. In this connector (10), the angle of the inclined surface (12D) is set such that a virtual extending surface (Vs) which is obtained by extending the inclined surface (12D) to the circuit board (90) side has a portion with is positioned further to the outside in the width direction (left-right direction) than the connector (10).
