Abstract:
A consequent-pole rotor 20 has: a first rotor core 5-1 having a first insertion hole; and a second rotor core having a second insertion hole and stacked on the first rotor core 5-1, thereby forming a space for housing a permanent magnet by the first insertion hole together with the second insertion hole. The first insertion hole has an opening at a first outer circumferential position of the first rotor core 5-1. The second insertion hole is closed at least at a second outer circumferential position of the second rotor core, wherein the second outer circumferential position corresponds to the first outer circumferential position.
