Abstract:
A consequent-pole-type rotor 20 that has a rotor core 5 and a permanent magnet 1 placed in the interior of the rotor core 5 is provided with: a first rotor core 5-1 having a first region in which the permanent magnet 1 is inserted; and a second rotor core 5-2 having a second region in communication with the first region, and laminated on the first rotor core 5-1. When the width of the first region in the radial direction of the rotor core 5 is a first width, and the width of the second region in the radial direction of the rotor core 5 is a second width, the second width is greater than the first width.
