Abstract:
A constant-speed electrically-driven quadruped robot having an adjustable center of gravity and a method of use thereof. The quadruped robot comprises a frame (10). Front shank rods (20) respectively driven by first crank rocker mechanisms mounted on the frame and pivoting back and forth in a staggered manner are provided on two sides of a front portion of the frame (10). Rear shank rods (30) respectively driven by second crank rocker mechanisms mounted on the frame (10) and pivoting back and forth in a staggered manner are provided on two sides of a rear portion of the frame (10). Non-slip foot ends (40) are respectively provided at a lower end of the front shank rod (20) and a lower end of the rear shank rod (30). A center of gravity adjustment apparatus is provided on a lower portion of the frame (10). The center of gravity of the quadruped robot is adjustable, such that the quadruped robot travels steadily on a road with a certain slope.
