Abstract:
To enable pressure equalization operations and temperature adjustment to be performed on a constant-temperature liquid using a simple circuit configuration in which a single electronic expansion valve is used. A compressor (20) of a refrigeration circuit is subjected to ON/OFF control according to the temperature of a constant-temperature liquid. When the compressor (20) is ON, the opening degree of an electronic expansion valve (22) is varied in a restricted opening state in which the opening degree is less than that when the electronic expansion valve (22) is fully open, whereby the flow rate of coolant is adjusted and the temperature of the constant-temperature liquid is adjusted. When the compressor (20) is OFF, the opening degree of the electronic expansion valve (22) is maintained, for a given amount of time, at a pressure-equalization opening degree greater than the opening degree during the restricted opening state, whereby a pressure difference between a high-pressure part and a low-pressure part in the refrigerant circuit is eliminated, preventing overload when the compressor is switched ON.
