Abstract:
A constant velocity universal joint, wherein a boot has enhanced durability and reduced size achieved by minimizing wear of the boot. A constant velocity universal joint provided with an outer joint member (1), an inner joint member (2), a torque transmitting member (3), a shaft (5), and a boot (6), wherein the surface roughness of the outer peripheral surface (5a) of the shaft (5) is set to satisfy Rsk < 0 μm, Rpk < 2 μm, and Ra < 4 μm.
