Abstract:
The present invention pertains to a constant-velocity universal joint 11 provided with an outer-side joint member 12 and an inner-side joint member 13 which transmits torque while allowing angular displacement with the outer-side joint member 12 via balls 14, a motive power transmission shaft 25 being linked to the inner-side joint member 13 so as to be capable of transmitting torque, and an attachment/detachment mechanism 33 for attaching/detaching the motive power transmission shaft 25 to and from the inner-side joint member 13 being provided between the inner-side joint member 13 and the motive power transmission shaft 25; wherein the attachment/detachment mechanism 33 is provided with a cylindrical member 34 fitted over the motive power transmission shaft 25 so as to extend to the motive power transmission shaft-side of the inner-side joint member 13, a retaining ring 35 fitted inside the cylindrical member 34 and able to shrink in diameter, a push-in member 36 arranged so as to be able to move in the diametrical direction toward the diametrically outer side of the retaining ring 35, and an annular member 37 arranged so as to be able to move in the axial direction on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical member 34; and the retaining ring 35 can be attached to and detached from the motive power transmission shaft 25 by diametrically moving the push-in member 36, which is exposed from the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical member 34 by the axial movement of the annular member 37.
