Abstract:
Provided is a constant-velocity universal joint 11 for use in a vertical configuration which is provided with: an outer joint member 14; an inner joint member 15 adapted for transmission of rotating torque between the outer joint member 14 and the inner joint member 15 with a ball 16 therebetween while permitting angular displacement; and a shaft 13 extending from the inner joint member 15. The outer joint member 14 has an opening portion 27 which is sealed by means of a boot 30. The outer joint member 14 has sealed therein a lubricant 29. A seal plate 34 that divides the inner space of the boot 30 in an axial direction is fixed between the inner joint member 15 and the shaft 13.
