Abstract:
A constant volume discharge device capable of reliably releasing air from a syringe.
A constant volume discharge syringe (10) includes the syringe (12) and the constant
volume discharge device (14). The constant volume discharge device (14) has
an outer tube (26) extending in the direction of arrow A, an inner tube (28) and
spring (30) received in the outer tube (26), a lid member (32) fitted in the outer
tube (26), a pressing member (34) inserted through the outer tube (26), the inner
tube (28), and the lid member (32), and an operation member (36) attached to the
outer tube (26). In preparatory operation, the operation member (36) is moved
to an initial position to a stop position, and in operation subsequent to the preparatory
operation, the operation member (36) is moved from a standby position to the stop
position. The distance of movement of the pressing member (34) in the preparatory
operation is greater than that of pressing member (34) in operation subsequent
to the preparatory operation.
