Abstract:
The present invention relates to a construction of a partial natural absorbency to all disposable hygiene products that is directly to baby diapers, sanitary pads, adult diapers, baby pads, breast pads, and all other single used hygiene products. The absorbent pad contains the combination of viscose fluff, gelatine powder, agar powder and superabsorbent polymer (SAP). The present construction partially will Bio/ degrade under aerobic conditions within a period of 24 months. The importance of this product is the natural absorbency without the harsh toxic chemicals that irritates baby's bottoms and dehydrate the skin which results in red skin, boils, chafing and bleeding patches that could lead to critical illnesses in babies and adults.

1 CLAIMS

2 1_. Invention; In the present invention which is the overall product the use of

3 materials understanding the physical properties of each individual material used

4 and structuring it together to perform as a constructed absorbent core in any

5 hygiene product and to comply with ASTM standards for bio/degradability with

6 the inclusion of the natural ingredients in the absorbent core the use of Gelatine

7 powder and Agar powder with Viscose fluff and SAP (supper absorbent polymer) δ which makes up the entire product as an invention novel and inventive to enhance g up the physical properties to absorb any body fluid by the use of all the raw0 materials in the products core structure. 1 2.We claim the structure of the present invention novel and inventive by the use of all2 the raw materials to form a hygiene product and the structure to be used in all types3 of single used (disposable) products as per claim 1

4 3. We claim the entire description from 1 -6 of the described layers in this document is5 an inventive step to achieve a hygiene product which is partially a natural absorbent6 structure as per claim 1 and 2

7 4. We claim the use of Gelatine powder, Agar powder, SAP (Super absorbent polymer)8 and Fluff used together to form the absorbent core of this present invention is novel9 and inventive as per claim 1.2.3.4

0 5. We claim the method of construction of Gelatine and Agar combined with SAP and1 Viscose fluff without any limitations for it's weight in the present invention is novel2 and inventive as per claim 1.2.3.4,5

We claim the use of percentages of each individual material is not limited to its4 weight in GSMS (GRAMS) and will be used accordingly to each product in the range5 of hygiene products which are disposable baby diapers, sanitary pads, incontinence6 pads, breast pads, baby absorbent pads, pet diapers, bed and chair protectors which7 are single used as per 1 ,2,3,4,5,6.

Description:
CONSTRUCTED METHOD OF ABSORBENCY History The present invention relates to a construction of a partial natural absorbency to all disposable hygiene products that is directly to baby diapers, sanitary pads, adult diapers, baby pads, breast pads, and all other single used hygiene products. The present construction will bio degrade under aerobic conditions within a period of 24 months. The importance of this product is the natural absorbency without the harsh toxic chemicals that irritates baby's bottoms and dehydrate the skin which results in red skin, boils, chafing and bleeding patches that could lead to critical illnesses in babies and adults. The present invention will also give choices to change consumer behavioural patterns for better health and safety. Understanding the natural physical properties of fibre the present invention is related to constructing a product that could break down and reduce the stress on land fill and also on the environment. The construction of the layers which will support its' physical properties to marry each other and demonstrate a perfect product in terms of comfort, softness, flexibility, reliability, safe, and environmentally friendly at the final outcome of the life of the product. There are many companies that are developing new products new technologies and trying to make a difference which is remarkable and having researched many of them in this present invention, we address the most important features that we have achieved with scientific evidence to structure a baby safe product. In the present invention the SAP is used to only keep away the moisture that could tamper the natural ingredients with mould and bacteria. But certainly not for absorbency of any urine or body fluids. Description The baby diaper in this instance has several layers and comprises of all these components to make it a final product the Baby disposable diaper and the construction for all other Hygiene products. The layers are, outer cover which is 100% cotton, liquid impervious layer, the absorbent pad which is viscose fluff (regenerated natural fibre, viscose is carded to make fluff), SAP(Supper absorbent polymer) Collagen (Gelatine powder) Agar powder (Made up of sea weed) wrapped in tissue paper which forms the absorbent core, the Acquisition layer which is the second layer under the adjacent layer to the body,( the top sheet) which is next to skin, with the cuff on either side to prevent leakage, elastic for legs and back, frontal tape and Velcro fastening which will be detailed in the drawings. (Please Note that the elastic and frontal tape and Velcro are accessories to the product ) In the present invention the SAP is used to only keep away the moisture which could tamper the natural ingredients with mould and bacteria and not for absorbency of any urine or body fluids. The nonwoven fabrics that the back sheet of the present invention comprises of 100%cotton non woven made up of natural cotton. The non woven fabrics in the diaper are the back sheet which is 100% cotton top sheet which is PLA and the cuff. The absorbent core which could be used in baby diapers/ adult diapers or sanitary pads, or any type of pads which are single use disposable products will comprise the absorbency of the present invention a blend of Gelatine powder and Agar agar the sea weed powder which we use for lab work and a very minute percentage of super absorbent polymer which is minimum in grams. The reason for the use of SAP in the present invention is to prevent the natural powders of Gelatine and Agar Agar powder from contamination by moisture , air and any other contamination and is used to secure shelf life. The liquid impervious layer which is made up of TDPA (totally degradable plastic) additives that comprises of a degradable plastic which in the presence of oxygen, sun and stress will break down to tiny particles which helps the micro organisms to absorb at this level but not limited to any other liquid impervious layer. The other accessories of the product will be the elastic tape, frontal tape which is of a branded design and the Velcro tapes and the back waist elastic which are all non bio degradable and considered as accessories of a product. Description related to the drawings: The outer cover marked as NO 1 in the drawings of the product diaper/pad will comprise of a 100% cotton non woven. The fabric will be used as the outer layer and will be made up of natural cotton fibre. The gram in weight of this fabric layer is in the range of 1 0 -25 gms in weight. The liquid impervious layer: marked as NO 2 (water proofing layer) in the drawings. The liquid impervious layer is developed incorporating EPI'sTDPA (Totally degradable plastic additives) Disposed in landfill it will degrade in the presence of oxygen, heat and stress within 12 to 24 months. Even in inadvertently littered, it will degrade in the presence of sunlight and wind, and ultimately degrade when exposed to oxygen, soil, moisture and microbes as described in ASTM D 6954 -04 Top sheet marked as NO 3 in the drawings; The top sheet is made up of PLA non woven which is derived from fermentation of corn. The material is felted non woven parallel laid and will weigh 10-25 gms. The material will bio degrade in landfill in aerobic or anaerobic conditions. The material will break down if it is inadvertently littered. A natural product that will bio degrade into the carbon cycle. Cuff marked as NO 4 in the drawings; The cuff in the product is to control overflow and to fit at the leg. It has 3 inserts of baby elastic when it is used in diapers. The cuff is made of PE non woven which is non biodegradable as of its requirement in the garment to be hydrophobic. The material is a non woven and weigh 5-25 gms in weight. The material will degrade as of its construction and light weight and break down into tiny particles. Liquid Impervious Layer (ACQ) marked as No 5 in the drawings; The ACQ layer is to prevent backflow of body fluids to the surface. It is placed under the top sheet and above the absorbent pad. The body fludis flow from the top sheet through the ACQ layer and then to the absorbent pad. It does not allow to back flow to the top. The ACQ is placed at the centre of the pad. The material used for the pad is non woven, it is a polyester mix non woven. The weight of the fabric is from 5 gsm - 15gsm. The ACQ material will degrade and break down to very small particles, in the presence of oxygen, heat and stress and moisture. Finally the minute particles. The absorbent core pad marked as NO 6 (the Invention) in the drawings. The absorbent pad consists of tissue paper as the overall wrap of the absorbent core. The core is filled up in the process of state of the art manufacture by a spray jet which is a mixture of viscose fluff, gelatine fine powder and Agar Powder and 1 -3 gms of SAP (supper absorbent polymer) in the structure of baby disposable diapers. This will absorb body fluids which are urine and faeces. The top sheet which is No 3 will be the overall wrap of the absorbent core. The usage of gelatine powder and Agar powder and SAP and viscose fluff will vary according to the use of products in the Hygiene product range which is, Baby disposable diapers, absorbent pads, sanitary pads, adult incontinence pads, maternity pads, breast pads adult incontinent diapers, pet diapers, chair and bed protectors. Accessories which is not included in the invention are the frontal tape designed according to branding, Velcro fasteners, back elastic and leg elastic. These come under accessories to a product which will not be included as part of the invention. Invention; In the present invention which is the overall product the use of materials understanding the physical properties of each individual material method of structuring it together to perform as a constructed absorbent core in any hygiene product and to comply with ASTM standards for bio degradability. The inclusion of the natural ingredients in the absorbent core by the use of gelatine powder and agar powder with viscose fluff and SAP (supper absorbent polymer ) which makes up the entire product as an invention novel and

inventive to enhance the physical properties of each raw material in a Product structure to be used in the entire single used hygiene products.
