Description:

Construction element

The present invention is a construction element, consisting of cores, made of a thermo- insulating material, and a warp, destined for bricklaying in the walls.

There is known a "construction element" disclosed in the patent no. 181846, consisting of a shaped continuous core formed from a thermo-insulating material and a warp filling up chambers of the said core. The said continuous core has at least one plane parallel to its base, constituting a plane in which fronts of geometric solids are lying, the said plane divides the continuous core into at least two layers, constituting one whole. Shape of cross-section of the layer in a plane constitutes a mirror image of cross-section of the layer in the same plane. Cross- sections of layers are shifted against each other. Geometric solids are placed in at least two rows, forming a labyrinth, wherein solids of one row are connected with solids of second row by means of connecting members, making one whole together with the said solids.

There is known a construction element disclosed in the patent no. 195666, in form of a cuboidal solid, consisting of a multi-channel insert made of material having good thermo- insulating features, surrounded and filled up with material forming a carrying warp so that they constitute two solids integrated spatially, each being representation of the other in the process of forming following the principle positive - negative, while each of them is at least three-layered. Lacings of the said multi-channel insert made of thermo-insulating material are situated as perpendicular in relation to lacings of carrying warp situated longitudinally inside the element.

There is known a construction element disclosed in the patent no. US5209037, warp of which is divided and in the same time supported by an insulation core having shape of serpentine with clearly undulatory structure resembling in bends letters "T" or "ω" and their fragments. Such a shape of the insulating core inseparable with the warp ensures supporting the halves of the warp and allows for bricklaying of the wall with continuous core structure. In spite of some modifications which were introduced in relation to the earlier solution US4551959, the element

is still sensitive to damage and changes of its thickness are possible because there is no stiff connection between the two face walls.

There is also known a construction element disclosed in the patent application no. 361566 consisting of the warp of the element, containing outside and inside wall, between which is arranged an open-work filling in form of ribs as well as are placed thermo-insulating cores, filling up spaces between the walls and warp ribs. The warp has ribs situated wave-like between the warp walls, while at least one line of ribs is formed by ribs with width greater than other ones, and cores placed against outside wall are wider than cores placed against inside wall.

The crux of the invention is a construction element consisting of the warp, containing outside and inside face walls, between which an open-work filling in form of connecting members is arranged and there are thermo-insulating cores placed filling up spaces between walls and connecting members of the warp. The planes of the warp connecting crosswise face walls of the construction element form a broken line with bend angles smaller than the straight angle, and internal, longitudinal walls of the warp are profiled along wave-like broken line, and their connecting members are placed in the widest parts of the insulators.

Design of the construction element as per the invention enables elongation of the route to be passed by thermal stream between inside and outside walls. Shape of the element results in superb improvement of thermal parameters of the carrying warp itself. This ensures synergy of two effects of the applied shape: elongation of heat transfer route and improved thermal parameters of the carrying warp. Quotient of face area of the whole element to cross-section area of the connecting members is high and determines extremely small cross-section for thermal conduction. Summarizing: long route and small cross- section for thermal conduction and better thermal parameters of the carrying warp allowed to drastically reduce disproportions between insulating power of the carrying warp and that of thermal insulator, and what follows this, to considerably increase efficiency of the applied insulator.

The present invention is depicted in exemplary version in the fig. 1 illustrating top view of the element and fig. 2 - another exemplary version.

The construction element consists of face 1 and internal 2 carrying layers separated with layers of insulators 3_, 4, £ and connected with connecting members 6, 7 in the widest places of the insulators. These places are end edges of the insulators. Carrying layers, connecting members and also insulating elements are the vertical solids that determine

overall dimensions of the construction element, its height. Internal carrying layers 2 in vertical plane form some angle with faces I of the element and are profiled along a wavy- like broken line. In the example as per the invention fig. 1 there are two carrying layers 2 depicted, however number of these layers could be higher - fig. 2. Average length of connecting member perpendicular to face wall means length of the member measured between external surface of the face wall I and centre of intersection of the connecting member 6 or 7 with internal carrying layer 2. On the side planes of the construction element there are tongues 8 and grooves 9 made, to facilitate positioning of the construction elements in the course of bricklaying in the walls. Therefore insulators 3 and 5 placed against grooves 9 on the ends are partially deformed in order to maintain thickness of the warp wall. Insulators 1 and 1 can be of different thickness, depending on how they are situated in the wall.
