Abstract:
Disclosed is a construction elevator with an overhead-type traction machine suitable for use in a building shaft, the construction elevator comprising a traction machine (1), a top beam (2), a traction medium (3), a lifting cage (4), and a counterweight (5), wherein the top beam (2) is fixed to an upper end of a building shaft (10), and the traction machine (1) is fixed to the top beam (2); the top of the lifting cage (4) is provided with a first pulley (6), and the counterweight (5) is provided with a second pulley (7); one end of the traction medium (3) is guided out downwards from the traction machine (1), passes by the first pulley (6), and is then guided upwards to the top beam (2) and is connected to the top beam (2), and the other end of the traction medium (3) is guided out downwards from the traction machine (1), passes by the second pulley (7), and is then guided upwards to the top beam (2) and is connected to the top beam (2); the traction medium is a steel wire rope or a steel band; and the top beam (2) can move in an elevation motion. The elevator has the advantages of being highly safe, having a high lifting speed, and making little noise.
