Abstract:
Described herein are methods of constructing fashion accessories using modular origami folding techniques adapted to incorporate a broad range of flexible material. By incorporating and adapting modular origami units, such as Sonobe units, a variety of fashion accessories can be produced. Improved methods of assembling such units into including fashion accessories, further incorporate attachment mechanisms to allow for more robust construction in a fixed and durable state. A variety of fashion accessory designs produced by the described processes are presented.
