Abstract:
Specifications of diesel engines for pneumatic shovels vary by region and country of sale, so it is necessary to prepare various types of engines depending on the target location, which has resulted in the problem of increased manufacturing costs of shovels. This construction machine is provided with an engine and is characterized in that the engine includes: an engine head unit 502a which is selected from the engine head units 502a of various specifications and in which members that must be mounted/unmounted or replaced for each of the multiple specifications are arranged together; and an engine block unit 501 which is common to the engine head units 502a of the various specifications.
