Abstract:
Provided is a construction machine capable of suppressing a decrease in work efficiency caused by the cleaning of a dust filter. The construction machine is equipped with an engine chamber (15a), an air-intake chamber (15b) and a dust capturing unit (50) connected to the air-intake chamber (15b). The dust capturing unit (50) includes a tubular body (TB), a capturing pocket (51) and an airflow-suppressing member. The tubular body (TB) has end sections on both sides thereof which respectively form an air intake port (50a) and a connection port (50b), has a curved section (50c) therebetween, and is shaped so as to curve at said curved section (50c). The capturing pocket (51) is positioned on the downstream side of the inner wall surface of an outside corner section (50f) of the curved section (50c), and demarcates the capturing space where dust separated from the outside air is captured. The airflow-suppressing member suppresses airflow formation and is positioned inside the capturing space.
