Abstract:
[Problem] To provide construction machinery whereby it is possible to enlarge the dimensions of a step disposed in a driver's compartment without increasing the slewing radius of said machine. [Solution] A mini shovel provided with a step for facilitating entering and exiting a driver's compartment (6), wherein a part of the step is provided with a projecting part (12a), which projects further outward than an opening plane (16) that forms the entrance/exit (20), and a part of a door (5) is provided with a convex part (5a) that covers the projecting part (12a) of the step when the door (5) is closed. The floor (11) of the driver's compartment (6) has a flat section (11a) disposed on the front side of a driver's seat (4) and a step section (11b) disposed on the entrance/exit (20) side so as to be contiguous with the flat section (11a). The interior of the driver's compartment (6) is further provided with a flange section (12) that is contiguous with the step section (11b) and formed in the same plane as the step section (11b) of the floor (11). The step comprises the flange section (12) and the step section (11b) of the floor (11), and the projecting part (12a) is provided on the flange section (12).
