Abstract:
Upon detecting a non-operation by an operation device (14), a low idling controller (26A) switches an idling state flag from "clear" to "set". A rotation speed controller (26B) switches, on the basis of the idling state flag, a rotational speed command from a set rotation speed set by a rotation speed command device (27) to a low idling rotation speed. An engine (8) then rotates at a low idling rotation speed, which is lower than the set rotation speed. While the low idling controller (26A) is reducing the rotation speed of the engine (8), a gate control unit (24) stops the switching of an inverter (23).
