Abstract:
According to the present invention, a wheel-type hydraulic shovel (10) includes: a front axle (23) provided on the front side of a chassis (11); a rear axle (26) provided on the rear side of the chassis (11); a drive device (28) mounted on the chassis (11); and a propeller shaft (31) that transmits an output of the drive device (28) to the front axle (23) and the rear axle (26), is the wheel-type hydraulic shovel (10) being provided with a drive device-side propeller shaft cover (33) that covers a drive device-side propeller shaft (31A) of the propeller shaft (31), and an axle-side propeller shaft cover (35) that covers an axle-side propeller shaft (31B). A distance (A) between a bottom surface cover (36) of the axle-side propeller shaft cover (35), lower surfaces of a lower plate (38C) of a left side surface cover (38) and a lower plate (39C) of a right side surface cover (39), and a lower surface of the chassis (11) is set to be greater than a distance (B) between a lower surface of a bottom surface cover (33A) of the drive device-side propeller shaft cover (33) and the lower surface of the chassis (11).
