Abstract:
Disclosed is a construction method for improving the compressive capacity of a component, comprising the following steps: providing a pull rod (1), having a size smaller than that of an inner wall of an outer pipe (2), inside the outer pipe (2); the two having a gap (3) provided therebetween so as to slide relative to each other and ensure the pull rod can extend, retract and deform freely in the longitudinal direction, thereby preventing the pull rod (1) from being destabilized as the outer pipe (2) is compressed; and the two being connected only via two ends. By means of applying a pre-pulling force to the pull rod (1) and applying an equivalent precompression to the outer pipe (2), magnitudes of self-stress of the two are balanced. Before the pull rod (1) is disabled, a continuous lateral elastic restraint can be always provided for the outer pipe (2), increasing the compressive capacity of the outer pipe (2). The method realizes a relatively large compressive capacity by using an elongated component.
