Abstract:
The present invention relates to a contact ball bearing for supporting a vertical rotating shaft, and to a structure for supporting a vertical rotating shaft using same. The contact ball bearing comprises: an outer wheel, the top of which is open and the inner surface of which has a raceway groove; a plurality of bearing balls arranged into a circle along the raceway groove such that the bearing balls are rollable, wherein the interval between bearing balls is maintained by a retainer; and a rotating shaft ball which is fixed at the vertical rotating shaft, and the diameter of the lower end of which enables same to contact each of the bearing balls arranged in a circle, such that the rotating shaft ball can be brought into point-contact with the plurality of bearing balls and rotatably supported. According to the present invention, the vertical rotating shaft can be stably supported even when the vertical rotating shaft becomes warped or twisted or a support frame becomes deformed.
