Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: a first contact unit provided with a fixed contact, and a movable contact which moves between a closed position in contact with the fixed contact, and an open position separated from the fixed contact; a magnet which generates a magnetic field; and an arc-extinguishing body. A direction intersecting both the direction of the magnetic field applied to the first contact unit, and the direction in which the movable contact moves is set as the direction of action, and the arc-extinguishing body forms an arc-extinguishing space in the direction of action.
