Abstract:
According to the present invention, a light source part (105) generates light to be directed onto the document. A light guide body (104) has: a first emitting part, the light generated by the light source part (105) propagating through the interior of the first emitting part and being emitted by the first emitting part onto the document; and a second emitting part (115) for emitting light to the exterior, the second emitting part (115) being a portion different from the first emitting part. A corrective light receiving part (106) is provided in a region that directly receives the light emitted from the second emitting part (115) and outputs reference data corresponding to the direct light. A control part makes a comparison between predetermined standard data and the reference data outputted from the corrective light receiving part (106), and performs a process for correcting the illumination output on the basis of the comparison results.
