Abstract:

A container for nonhydrous contact lens capable of stably storing a nonhydrous contact lens for a long period while satisfactorily maintaining the initial characteristics thereof such as hydrophilic property and the initial shape thereof such as dimensional accuracy, wherein wet gas containing vapor in saturated state or near that state is sealed in a sealed storage space in which the nonhydrous contact lens is stored. Thus, the nonhydrous contact lens can be stored in the storage space in the state of being exposed to the wet gas without being immersed in liquid despite the fact that the contact lens is in non-dry state.
