[Problem] To provide an electrical component socket in which the stability of electrical resistance can be maintained even after repeated use. [Solution] A contact pin of an electrical component socket, provided with a lower contact part electrically connected to a contact of a substrate, a spring part extending upwards from the lower contact part and adapted to elastically deform during pressing, a linear part extending upwards from the upper end of the spring part, and an upper contact part formed on the upper end side of the linear part, the upper contact part being pushed against a terminal of the electrical component by an elastic force from the spring part during pressing. The upper contact part is provided with: a first contact protrusion disposed on the extension line of the linear part, the first contact protrusion being pushed at the distal end part thereof by the terminal of the electrical component during pressing; and a plurality of second contact protrusions disposed at a position displaced from the extension line of the linear part, the second contact protrusions being pushed at the distal end parts thereof by the terminal of the electrical component during pressing.
